Problem
Small teams outgrow spreadsheets for sprint tracking fast, but often don't want full Jira complexity or its license cost.
Approach
- Hierarchical issue model (Epic → Story → Task → Subtask) with audit trail, drag-and-drop Kanban, sprint planning, and RBAC-gated UI.
- OTP auth via an external HRMS API; auto-generated issue keys; versioned DB migrations.
Result
A lightweight, self-hosted Jira-style board with real issue hierarchy, an audit trail, and RBAC — without the enterprise price tag.
